Start your tour at Neckarmünzplatz and drive with us past the Marstall to the Theodor Heuss Bridge. From there, head to the first highlight of this 360-degree tour, the Philosophenweg with its fantastic view of the city. The second historical site is the Neuburg Monastery, which was founded in 1130 and looks back on a remarkably interesting history. Continue to the Köpfel and look down on the Neckar Valley, the city of Heidelberg, and the Upper Rhine Plain. From there, continue down into the valley to Ziegelhausen and, on the other side of the Neckar, climb steeply up to Wolfsbrunnen, a restaurant and conference centre that shines in new splendor after extensive renovation. A glance at the guest list, which is teeming with crowned heads and famous artists of all genres, conveys the glamor of earlier days. Then continue toward the castle and drive past the Villa Bosch and the Carl Bosch Museum, which offers exciting insights into the life and discoveries of Heidelberg's Nobel Prize winner Carl Bosch. Above the castle, enjoy the great view of the castle garden before continuing your way to the Klingenteich pond. Passing the Jewish Cemetery, the tour leads you back to the Old Town to the starting point at Neckarmünzplatz.
