On Dezember 2, 2024, from 6 p.m. on the market square in the middle of the old town
The Heiliggeistkirche will also be opening its doors in the evening from 5.30 - 9 p.m. and, as a sign of solidarity and tolerance towards the queer community, will not only shine in bright pink on the outside, but also on the inside. From 5.30 - 6 p.m. there will be an Advent devotion for Pink Monday, the collection will go to Aidshilfe Heidelberg.
This year, too, there will be the "Pink Glühwein" created especially for Pink Monday by the Adam Müller winery and, of course, the 2024 special edition of the "Pink Monday Christmas Cup". The cups have become collectors' items and are automatically purchased with the purchase of the first Pink Glühwein.
In the Bürgerhütte, the Aidshilfe Heidelberg e.V. presents itself with gift ideas such as homemade jam and an always open ear for all questions about HIV, AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases.
Pink Monday has become a cult event of the Christmas market, which not only the LGBT+ community looks forward to, but all visitors. Every year it is colourful and diverse, and always brings a good mood and a large donation for AIDS-Hilfe Heidelberg. This is only possible thanks to the entire team, which organises, co-finances, and supports the event. First and foremost, this includes the Friends of AIDS-Hilfe Heidelberg e.V., Heidelberg Marketing GmbH, Fahrwerk Ambient Marketing, and the Adam Müller Winery.
To get in the mood for Pink Monday, a QueerTour Heidelberg will take place on 2 December at 3.30 pm. A tour of the old town focussing on "Heidelberg and homosexual history", starting at Karlsplatz (Cabriobus stop) and ending on the market square just in time for the opening of Pink Monday.
Information on the QueerTour Heidelberg at www.queertour-heidelberg.de, registration at queertour-heidelberg@gmx.de. The "pay-what-you-want principle" applies, all proceeds go to AIDS-Hilfe Heidelberg e.V.
